我が家のラグは、オシャレよりも洗いやすさと価格を重視しています。
子どもたちが汚してもくじけない価格。いつもしまむらさんにお世話になってます！
汚れても洗濯機でわしゃわしゃ洗えるし、なんならシーズンごとに買い換えても良いよね、っていう安心価格。
しかしながら安いラグ仲間はお分かりかと思いますが、なにせ薄いのです。
しまむらのラグはコスパいいけど薄い
春夏用ラグは特に薄いので、滑り止めがついていないタイプだと子どもたちがちょっと遊ぶと、こうなります。
フローリングに直接敷くと、床の固さがそのまま伝わってきてちっとも快適じゃない。
だけど ”消耗品” であるラグにそこまでお金は出したくない。
恥ずかしながら、我が家は年中この下にホットカーペットを敷きっぱなしにしていました。

「ホットカーペットじゃなくて、ラグの下に敷くものって何かないだろうか」
そんなときに見つけたのが『ふかふか下敷き専用 ラグ ふかぴた』ラグの下に敷くラグです。
商品ページを見てみると、
薄手のラグは軽くて洗えるけど座っていると、お尻が痛くなったり、クッション性が低いため困ることも。「ふかピタ」なら薄手ラグの下に敷くだけでふかふかになりますよ！

まさに求めていたものです。
しかも家庭で洗えるというのは良いですよ。手洗いとありますが、まぁ見なかったことにします。
さっそく購入しました。

商品到着〜開封
注文した３畳用のふかぴたはこのような形で届きました。なかなかの大きさです。

ばりばりと包装を開けてみると、折りたたまれたこの状態でもふんわり感がわかります。
さっそく敷いてみた
折りジワが目立ちますが、最初は仕方ないですね。使っているうちに伸びることでしょう。
下敷きラグを押してみると、指がこんな感じに沈みます。ふんわり感が伝わるでしょうか。
下敷きラグの裏にはびっしりと滑り止めがついていて、ちょっとやそっとじゃずれません。
なるほど、商品名の「ふかぴた」は、ふかふかとピタッを合わせたものだったんですね。
愛用のしまむら薄いラグをふかぴたの上に敷いてみると、極上の仕上がりとなりました。
思っていた以上のふんわり感に、ごろ寝も気持ちいい。
洗濯してみたらどう？
洗濯は「手洗いで」とあったのに、無視して洗濯機の「毛布モード」で洗いました。
はい。
サイズが大きいので洗濯機のフタ部分に引っかかって、生地が少々破れてしまいました。
気にしません！！
その後も懲りずに何度も洗濯機洗いしています。生きてます。
あれから5年経ちまして、
2017年の購入から4年近くが経ちました。
春〜秋のホットカーペットの出番がない時期だけ使用して、洗濯も何度かしています。
さすがに当初のふわふわ感は失われてしまいましたが、それでもフローリングの硬さを感じるほどではなく、いまだ現役で活躍しています。
しかしそろそろ買い替えどきだろうか、とも思ってます。
